Among other things, you can read about the treatment of the blind and the visually impaired. Since the late 1980es, we have treated approximately 8000 eye-patients from all over the world – most of whom could not be helped by the eye-specialists.

Acupuncture2000/AcuNova is also unique in the treatment of pain. Our students are invited to bring one of their “incurable” pain-patients to the courses for treatment. Since we started doing that, we have treated about 300 people who had tried “everything under the sun”. To this date, we have only had 29 patients (out of these 300 ), who did not experience an alleviation of the pain over the course of a few treatments.

Acupuncture2000/AcuNova was for the first time presented to the public on January 2nd 2000 on a world congress in Colombo.

Here scientists from more than 100 countries met to exchange experiences and hear about the latest news from both east and west.

Some of the scholars had a medical scientific background, while others came from the alternative medical sector. Common to them all was the realization that western medicine does not have the answer to the cure of chronic diseases.

Over the course of half an hour, I had to present the results of hundreds of hours of research in a manner that was comprehensible to the audience.

I believe I succeeded.

The result was that the board of The Open International University for Complementary Medicines unanimously decided to appoint me “Acupuncturist of the Century“.
