A course for more than 300 doctors
An old saying goes: ”An expert is somebody, who lives somewhere else”.
Maybe there is something to it. We have indeed been subject to an odd phenomenon.
We have previously been critized for lack of documentation of the effect of the treatment of the blind and visually impaired.
To prove, that it was possible to help a lot of blind and visually impaired people, a couple of years ago we did an investigation into the treatment of calcification of the eye.
We treated 20 patients for a month, found out, among other things, that it was difficult, if not impossible, to cure, but that we are able to improve the condition for approximately 65% of all patients with calcification of the eye, whom we have treated. It is allso possible to halt the decline.
I sent the results of the investigation to all eye specialists in Denmark, the eye clinic of the state, The Danish Society for the Blind and the minister of health. We offered all parties to redo the investigation (for free), if anyone was interested.
We received no answers.
So I gave up trying to catch the ear of the authorities.
It has been quite different abroad. My son John Jr. and I have conducted courses in eye acupuncture to allmost 1000 acupuncturists from all over Europe. About 300 of the students were both acupuncturists and doctors. And apart from that, about 60 of them were eye specialists.
Some of these doctors and eye specialists have done their own investigations. An eye specialist treated 50 patients with calcification of the eye (Macular Degeneration ARMD). She came to the same results as us. She followed them for a two year period. Normally, these patients go downhill. None of the patients had a setback in this period. She has described the result in a scientific magazine: “Akupunkturlægen”(The Acupuncturist Doctor).
A doctor from Austria suffering from calcification of the eye was a patient with us. He previously did not believe in acupuncture at all. He wrote about his experiences in an article in the austrian magazine Doctors weekly.
One of our first students from Germany: Dr. med Hans Peter Wutta from Kiel is writing a book about my methods.
Dr. med Reinhard Teuber has also written an article about our eye treatment in the popular scientific magazine Punkt. The article has been translated into english.
In addition to this, there has been innumerable newspaperarticles and T-programmes about eye acupuncture in Germany and Austria.
