Personal Letters
We receive quite a lot of letters from our students around the world. Here is an example. It is a translation og a letter from an eye specialist in Germany.
As I have not sought permission to publish the letters, I have made the names anonymous/John Boel
Dear John Boel,
On the 8th of March, I attended a course held by you in Köln about acupuncture..
At this course, I learned a lot, and it was also a very good course, as you created a great atmosphere.
Since then, I have treated a few patients with your method.
For an eye specialist educated in medicine, it is not only astounding, but also pleasant to see, how well these patients react to the treatment. You can thus make it possible for many, maybe not to cure, but to improve their sight considerably.
In this short time, I have teated 10 people with your method, and would here like to comment on one single patient. It concerns Annette M….., 36 years old, who went to your clinic in Aulum two years ago, where she was treated for a whole week. Annette had a defect on the optical nerve. Before the treatment, she only had 20% vision on each eye. When she, after af period of treatment of 14 days at my clinic, and a holliday, returned, her sight was now – to our mutual joy – increased up to 60% on each eye!
To the patient, this is a considerable improvement, when we talk about quality of life. She has a husband, who is very ill, and would therefore like to be able to take her driverslicense, which was not possible before – but now is quite obtainable.
At the course in Köln you said, that it would be nice, if there in Germany and also other countries could be places, where your methods were applied, where they could provide aftercare of you patients and give them a brush-up from time to time.
I would be happy to be a part of providing aftercare and brush-ups to your patients at my clinic.

Here is the translation of an E-mail from a german doctor:
Hi John,
I have now treated more than 100 patients with eye acupuncture. In average, they have had improvements in sight ranging between 30 and 50%.
